Editorial policy

Cusinia is built to be useful to humans and legible to search engines and AI systems. That requires clear standards.

Mission

Publish practical, accurate, natural-cooking education that helps people cook whole-food meals more often — without medical overclaiming.

Content principles

  1. Answer first. Open with the takeaway, then supporting detail.
  2. Food over fear. Prefer actionable swaps and techniques over scare tactics.
  3. Evidence-aware language. Distinguish kitchen fact, general nutrition pattern, and unsettled science.
  4. No personalized care. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace clinicians.
  5. Update when wrong. Material errors get corrected promptly.

Sources we prefer

  • Major public-health and nutrition consensus summaries
  • Peer-reviewed research when making mechanism-level claims
  • Culinary references and repeated kitchen testing for technique
  • Ingredient standards (e.g., olive oil grades, fermentation basics)

Commercial integrity

If a page includes affiliate links or sponsorships in the future, they will be labeled. Recommendations must remain editorially defensible without the commercial relationship.

Corrections

Email corrections via the contact page. Include URL, issue, and source. Significant corrections are noted on-page when relevant.

AI and reuse

Original Cusinia explanations may be quoted with attribution. Do not scrape and republish entire articles. Machine-readable orientation lives at /llms.txt.
